Nashua, NH - Ikebana Flower is offering a one-day workshop on Saturday May 16th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Lunch on your own) in brush painting that will include the painting of bamboo demonstrated and taught by Bruce Iverson.

He has studied with three Chinese master brush painters. Mr. Iverson’s work has been exhibited in many juried regional shows and is part of private collections in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. He lives in Portsmouth, NH.

No prior experience is necessary for this workshop. You will leave the workshop with the ability to work on your own and to continue with more advanced subjects.

Skills acquired can easily be adapted to other art forms such as ceramics, fabric decoration, and Feng Shui. Against a backdrop of meditative music, brush painting is a relaxing way to expand your creative abilities and take part in a several thousand year-old tradition.

The cost for the whole-day workshop is $125 and includes all the materials to be used (Brush, ink, paper, etc.)
